Patty is a is perennially over-deadline aging punk cartoonist who uses her true crime obsession to mask her personal trauma. She tries to maintain a semblance of normalcy for her family amidst the strangeness of the moment, but while Patty's devotion is boundless, her capacity is stretched thin, and sometimes she'd rather ignore a problem that doesn't have an obvious solution.
